Our Story

Hi there, and welcome to Magari Boutique! My name is Mia CaraDonna, and I’m the founder & owner of Magari. I was born and raised in Boston, MA, but my wanderlust has brought me up and down the east coast living in various cities throughout the last decade – most recently settling in charming Charleston, SC. After college, I landed a job at a consulting firm where I quickly got to work crunching numbers and wrangling spreadsheets – but I’ve always had the desire to create something of my own that I’m passionate about.

Growing up, I’ve always been drawn to design and have had an eye for fashion. To me, there are few things more satisfying than stepping into my closet and pulling together pieces to create a stylish outfit that makes me feel confident and excited to face the day. In college, I often opened up my closet to friends looking to mix up their wardrobe and try something new. It’s this passion that has led me to my latest adventure – opening Magari Boutique. Paying homage to my Italian roots, I chose the name “Magari” which is the Italian word to express a hope or desire. And this boutique is just that – a business born out of a desire to do something different, create something of my own, step outside of my comfort zone and focus on my passion. 

Our vision at Magari is to inspire and support women as they grow and transition through life. We want you to look and feel your best no matter what your day holds – whether it’s Zoom calls with your colleagues, afternoon errands, brunch with friends or date night with your partner. At Magari, you can find everyday basics and staples mixed with select seasonal trends that you can mix and match to create various looks appropriate for your day ahead.
